::dances around office::
Taxes are done! Taxes are done! Taxes are done! Now they go to the accountant and (::crosses fingers::) he’ll review everything and tell me my estimated quarterly payments were enough.
I promise that this week I will answer the extremely good questions about the writing process sent in by a bunch of you guys. The rest of the weekend is devoted to some work for Editor #1 and a phone call with Editor #2 to discuss the draft I sent her last week.
Before I dive back into my source notes and scribble madly, a few concluding pics from Chattanooga, TN, plus a gorgeous picture from the hinterlands.
The morning I left, I stopped at Hixson High School….
Not really. They were a wonderful audience; very friendly kids.
Even if they did think the front row was No Man’s Land. Thank you very much, Students of Hixson, for ending my trip to Tennessee on such a wonderful note. (And a special “Hey” to all of y’all who have friended me since I got home!)
My flights were a little delayed, but the airports had wireless so I was able to take care of some email. I knew that my region of the tundra of New York had had some winter weather while I was gone….
…. but I didn’t get to see how pretty it was until the sun rose on my ice-covered Forest Thursday morning. For the record, we had six more inches of snow last night, and are anticipating another 6-12 inches tonight. Sure am glad I enjoyed those daffodils in TN.
Congrats on the taxes! I hope that those poor TN students got some much needed beauty rest.
Congrats on a successful trip! I just checked out your book, Catalyst, from the library here in Gothenburg, and I am enjoying it so far : ) That was in the stacks in the English language teen section, as well as Speak.
what kind of car do you have???
