yes yes yes!
What an eminently satisfying read. I sobbed aloud about five times, and whooped for joy two or three, but I was mesmerized on every page, and sorry for it to end.
Finally, someone who’s not criticizing the book and saying she did a horrible job!
Exactly! I closed the book and said “perfect.”
Exactly.
I totally agree!!
Hey, off topic, but – congrats to you for being in a JEOPARDY clue on Friday!
I’m with you, Laurie. I thought it was awesome!
Small world. That was my reaction to Twisted.
Hold on…what’s this?
Absolutely.
Apparently, FEVER 1793 was a Jeopardy answer.
::beams with delight::
That makes two you know; SPEAK was a Jeopardy answer a couple of years ago. There must be a YA librarian on staff.
I think I’m the only person left in America who hasn’t even read a Harry Potter book yet…
I am ashamed.
Suck up.
It was absolutly perfect. I am so happy with it!
i’m about 300 pages into it, and all i keep thinking to myself is, “this is a woman who, after seven books and nearly ten years, is still extraordinarily fond of her characters…”
Sucking up is always nice. Thank you, Mr. Lubar.
I agree completely! Loved it, loved it loved it.
I can’t wait to read it!
Indeed she did! I agree with you so much. I still get chills when I think about the book.
lol! love that icon!!!
She really did!! š Everything about it! My favorite part, though, was Neville/snake thing. It all makes me very very happy!
Yes yes yes!!!
To quote my mother, “J.K. … she did it, didn’t she?”
Not the only one. I try to avoid series and very long books because I know I will neglect everything else once I get into them.
Well I thought it was great too but the ending kind of fizzled and…..
well I have a few comments (lots of spoilers so beware!)on my own Journal just follow the link.
BUT……….it was a fun ride and I’m glad she finished it.
For the record, I was just teasing the Big Weenie Mr. Lubar. No pun harm intended.
Random Thought:
Heard Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide” today and was reminded of you. Which reminded me of CSN&Y’s “Southern Cross”, Gerry Rafferty’s “Baker Street”, and Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Give Me 3 Steps”….
I have to suck up to Laurie so she’ll introduce me to important people like incoming ALAN presidents. Besides, her daughter controls the buying at the local independent book store, so I really need to be on my best behavior.
Ha-ha! Best review on my friends list yet! Nice and short.
I agree wholeheartedly. Loved it.
Definitely.
Little Quirk
