I think I tried that back in college, but I’m pretty sure we also added Everclear and grape juice.
Nope. But I am very, very interested in your results. We got a bit of the ivy down here, too …
Horticultural Vinegar
Hi, Laurie,
I’m trying horticultural vinegar on some tenacious wiry-stemmed vinca major that is sneaking into my vegetable garden. Orange oil was recommended as an additive but the first trial was sans any oil. Wonder if the oil makes the vinegar “stick” to the foliage? As recommended, we waited for a hot day (we’re in California) and saw results in only a few hours… Some of the vinca returned but looks kind of puny. I’m encouraged….
