Here are a couple of early morning shots of one my favorites trees, just down the road from my house. I walk or run past it every day.
Happy Autumn.

this is why…you said you love trees on facebook
me too <3
goregous!! where do you live? The leaves are just beginning to change where I live, and I love it
It’s not so much the tree that draws me in, but the complete lack of traffic on the road that runs beside it.
I live outside of Mexico, NY, about halfway between Syracuse and Watertown, 70 miles south of Canada.
beautiful, laurie!
when is your and scot’s next race? are you doing any in the city?
Ooh, beautiful! We don’t get leaves changing color here, and seeing pictures like this always makes me hungry for the colors and crispness in the air. …and crunching leaves, possibly the most important part of fall. 😉
Gorgeous!!!
Glorious! Thanks, and happy fall to you, too!
You know, if the story well ever runs dry, you should seriously consider photography!!
spectacular tree!
I am so jealous…you don’t see much of that here in the concrete jungle that is NYC. I miss open spaces and leaves changing colors.
Thank you so much for the photo. My little New Englander heart needed a lift.
*happy sighs* I love fall…
Beautiful. I love fall.
AAaaaaaaah . . .
Gorgeous! Fall is my favorite time of year.
Hello…Thought I’d check with you on the Dover, DE Book Festival. Check your email…there’s a potential surprise for you….
How absolutely beautiful. Makes me a bit homesick for my hometown, where sights like this are everywhere (it’s tucked very far back in the country). There’s nothing like it.
