Gregory McGuire, who gave one of the funniest introductions I’ve ever heard for tonight’s keynote speaker, Linda Sue Park.
Katie Davis and Jane Yolen!!!!
Sara Zarr in the cute Utah hat sitting with Kate Messner.
Wendy Mass and me.
The outstanding and magnificent Vera B. Williams!
The food continues to be tempting….
My second presentation is tomorrow after breakfast. I am STILL not happy with Chapter 20, but I am happier with it than I was when I woke up. Will try again tomorrow.
It’s so cool to see what all these authors look like. I see their names almost every day of my life!
wow, I am jealous – three of my favorites all in the same place – you, sara z and my cutie client kate m. yay!!
Thanks for the pics. Is McGuire the only male there?
I’d like to meet Gregory Maguire! I’m a huge fan of Wicked (especially the musical, though I’ve read the book so many times) and Son of a Witch.
That sounds like so much fun. I wish I could go to something like that but they’d sense my non-writerness immediately XD I got to meet Libba Bray and Shannon Hale the other day and they were both amazing.
Whooo Sara Zarr!
I find that carved fruit amazing..Oh my gosh, are those pineapple stars?? I’m in love with pineapple, only I read the other day that its really high in calories (which I assumed, but I guess its worse than I thought..)
And if you get tired of being an author you should consider becoming a food photographer (Look at the glisten on that jelly!)
They look like rather large starfruit to me. I <3 starfruit.
OH, how I wish I was there. Sounds amazing in every way.
mmmmmm. I AM feeling the love.
Great pics! I see many familiar faces. 🙂
Have you considered a side career in food photography? Food reviewer of your local newspaper? Magazine contributor?
OMG what *IS* that last dessert?
*Homer Simpson gurgle*
I needed to head onto the treadmill after reading that post! Mmm…
I LOVE pictures of food! Thanks for sharing the baklava and Jane Yolen (eeeeee!!!!!).
