Let’s Dance!!!

PROM is officially out! I hope you like it.

No limos, ball gowns, or tiaras for me. I have a school visit and have to start getting ready for the book tour that starts Sunday.

But I’ll be giggling all day.

Writing a book takes a lot of time and energy, and for me, anxiety. It feels awesome to have it out there in the world.

    I loved PROM and have been telling all my friends to read it. I suppose I should be telling them to go out and BUY it. 🙂

    Congratulations! 🙂 I’ll never forget when I met you for the first time (you signed SPEAK for me), and you and Lisa R.F. (I just saw her recently in October) were jumping around with glee over FEVER coming out. 🙂 It was wonderful to witness. (I like to use parentheses.)

  16. Yay! I read it on the plane coming back from ALA and loved it, so am delighted to be able to share it with kids now.

    I was excited to get an email yesterday from All for Kids saying that your reading at Holy Names High School IS open to the public…I work 1-9 Monday, so couldn’t make the other one, and H.N.H.S. is just down the hill from my 10am yoga class…so I plan to attend and cheer you on! 🙂

  37. I wanted to get it for my birthday (yesterday) even though i knew it came out the day after.

    so when my brother asked me what I wanted yesterday that’s what i told him to get

    because you’ve said that people have gotten it early and i’ve gotten books days early before in the past

    but they didn’t have it yet

    and he’s not going pick it up for me until tomorrow

    I’ve been dying since I read the taste of prom you have on your website

    I’ll never do that again.

  40. Hey, I went to Borders the other day and saw “Prom” and freaked out. Then the next day, me and my mother went to the River’s End bookstore in Oswego (which I see you are going to be at April 2nd, I’m so sad to miss you…but college is important, or so they say.) I started reading Prom tonight and I’m 70 pages into it already. I saw that you have a webpage (which lead me here) I said that “Speak” is going to be a movie and I started freaking out again. I just wanted to let you know that you are one of my favorite authors, and I’m glad I got the chance to meet you. (It was like two years ago, right after Catalyst came out.)You inspire me, and bring hope to my life. And I’m going to end this post, before I make an even bigger dork of myself.
