Aaahhh love….

The Creature With Fangs says Happy Valentine’s Day! Thanks to literaticat for photo help. I’ll post later about yesterday’s events, and I’ll post the responses to the ESM class questions. Off to John C. Birdlebough H.S. in Phoenix, NY. Lots of love and chocolate to all, especially Stef, Jess, Mer, Chris, and, of course, my Beloved Husband. MWA!

    Dear Creature with Fangs:

My name is Trixie. You look like a fun playmate! I like to frenzy in the house, chase tennis balls and frisbees, beg for string cheese and bacon, and curl up to sleep on my Writer’s lap while she works.

    Woof!
    Trixie

PS – don’t eat any expensive Oriental rugs. it really makes them mad for some reason!

    Great picture! What a face!

Hey! I’m waving to you from North Phoenix. Wish I could come visit you. Enjoy your stay here. We just got a great flood of rain, but the next few days should be positively wonderful.

      Color me stupid!

Yet, another thing to live down. Thank you Laurie…I learned that there is a Phoenix NEW YORK today. In addition to being a great writer (I couldn’t put Speak down), you are also a fair geography teacher. Double duh! Well….If you’re ever in Phoenix ARIZONA, let me know. I won’t be able to find my way to wherever you might be, so you won’t have to worry about me visiting you. (I am the events assistant for our local SCBWI though, so maybe the RA can drive me to see you?)

Heh-heh-heh… I wasn’t going to say anything, but since you brought it up…. not only is there a Phoenix, NY, but it is close to Mexico, NY and Texas, NY – honest.

I was down your way back in October and trust me, two seconds in the desert and I lose all sense of direction.

You are welcome to visit our northern Phoenix anytime. Bring snowshoes if you come in Feb.!

Oh, the confusion. I can never look at the USA map again in the same way. Next you’ll tell me that there is a Bethlehem, Venice and Greece NY! Which would put the world map into question for me as well.

Sorry I missed you in October. And, snowshoes only sound like fun for the first 20 minutes. I freeze if it falls below 55 degrees here.

    Hey again Laurie!
I’m so sorry to bother you… I’m sure you’re very busy with your book tours and such, but I have a quick question. I had wanted to upload some pictures onto my free account but I am SO confused about how to do so. I thought it would be a simple task but I guess not. Could you help me out perhaps? Thanks so much!

      Hi Ash,

Go to http://www.tinypic.com. You post your photo to their server, then link to it from your LJ. Litericat taught me everything I know about this.

Want me to email you the rest of the photos from yesterday?

I just read Speak and I have to say thank you. I will certainly use it in my classroom one day.

    ..tulip girl..

Yes, it was very brave of her, but Jenna took on the tulip challenge. They are beautiful. Billy also gave me an orange rose. Thank you for my card and the chocolate flower. I opened up the card as soon as I woke up this morning, but the flower has joined the rest of my fake ones because I can’t eat it. I’m doing the whole South Beach thing; I’ll fill you in later. Okay. I love you. Tell CwF and BSF that I say hello and I love them as well.
