Fill in the blank, please

One of my kids recently said, “Life is too short to wear fake diamonds.”

That got me to thinking: what else is life too short for?

I am starting a list for myself:

Life is too short to watch American Idol.
Life is too short to finish reading books you don’t like by Chapter Four.
Life is too short for grudges.
Life is too short for low-fat cheese.
Life is too short to drink wine that comes in a box.

I’d love to hear what youse guys think.

Actually, I wanted to read period. (I haven’t been reading much since I’ve started school in September, and I just haven’t wanted to do much of anything since I had this depression/’falling out’ thing last month). I love this book very much, and thank you, for I am reading again!!

(P.S. these ‘life is too short’ things are very clever!! I’m going to try to come up with more, and when I do, I’ll let you know!!)
