Brava Italia!

This week SPEAK comes out in Italy. My clever publishers there, Giunti, have packaged the book together with a DVD of the movie.

They made a wonderful website promoting both.

I also have a copy of an Italian article about the book and movie, but it’s in a PDF file and I can’t figure out how to insert that in this blog. Can anyone help with this?

Ciao, bellas!

  1. That’s awesome! I’m in Italy right now, studying here for the semester, and Speak is one of my favorite books. There’s a bookstore on my street, maybe I’ll see it on the shelves 🙂

  2. Oh man, I want to buy this so bad! Speak is one of my favorite books and I’m currently taking Italian, so I’d love to buy this set to not only reread the book but it would also help my Italian ^^ Will it be available online anywhere? I’ll have to get it that way or ask my relatives in Italy to pick it up for me ^^

  3. A lot of PDFs, if you open them with Acrobat Reader, will let you highlight the text in them and copy it. It doesn’t work for all, and you will lose the formatting. But that’s one way to get the text onto your site without posting the PDF!

  4. I am really looking forward to buying this book this weekend! My friends have all told me its good! Well can’t wait to read it!

  5. That website looks so pretty 😀

BTW, you could upload your PDF to some free file sharing site (e.g. Megaupload, Mediashare, yousendit etc.) and then post the link to the download in your blog. That way you won’t be able to display the text in your blog but at least people could download and read the article. 🙂

  6. This is so fantastic! I love the packaging. I also love that the movie definitely respects your book and is true to the story. Kristen Stewart did such an amazing job.

  7. PDFs aren’t compatible with webpages.
You could upload your PDF file to a website like scribd if you want people to be able to read it online, but you’d still have to post a link to it. Sorry, i think that’s the best you can do. :-S Take care!
